Simple Present Tense என்றால் என்ன?

Simple Present Tense என்பது நிகழ்காலத்தில் நடக்கும் பழக்க செயல்கள், பொதுவான உண்மைகள், மற்றும் நிரந்தரமான உணர்வுகள் ஆகியவற்றைக் குறிக்கிறது.

உருவாக்க விதி (Structure) :

வழக்கமான வாக்கியம் (Affirmative sentence):

Subject + Verb (base form) + s/es (he/she/it-க்கு மட்டும்)

• I go to school.
• He goes to school.

எப்போது Simple Present Tense பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும்?

1. பழக்கவழக்கம் அல்லது தினசரி நடவடிக்கைகள் (Daily routines):
   • I brush my teeth every morning.
   • She wakes up at 6 a.m.
2. பொதுவான உண்மைகள் (General truths):
   • The sun rises in the east.
   • Water boils at 100°C.
3. நிரந்தரமான நிலைமை (Permanent situations):
   • He lives in Madurai.
   • They work in a bank.
4. நேர அட்டவணைகள் (Scheduled actions):
   • The train leaves at 5 p.m.
   • School starts at 9 a.m.
5. வழிமுறைகள் (Instructions):
   • First, you add the flour.
   • Then, you mix it well.

He/She/It – ‘s’/‘es’ சேர்க்கும் விதிகள்:

Verb முடிவு	எடுத்துக்காட்டு	Rule
பொதுவான Verb	play → plays	s சேர்க்கவும்
-ch, -sh, -ss, -x, -o	go → goes / wash → washes	es சேர்க்கவும்
consonant + y	study → studies	y → ies ஆகும்
